Product Review: 3D Extreme Mascara

When my mascara gets clumpy, dried out and old it's both a good and bad thing. It's good because I get to go hunting for a new mascara and I get to open a fresh new tube, but it's bad because I have to shell out my money.... I'm a poor college student.

This time when threw out my last tube of mascara I decided to explore Ulta in search of a new mascara to fall in love with. What I found was Unbelievable and probably non replaceable. Im stuck on this product and I'm stuck on it for good.

Pros: 3D Extreme Mascara IS lightweight, full of color, and super easy to use. The brush looks small, but it helps to reach those lashes that you usually miss. The tube has a sleek design and a grip friendly handle. When I applied, my board straight lashes instantly voluminous and kept a curl shape... I was ecstatic.

Cons: Clumping may occur if your not carefully. The brush was designed to get the tiniest of hairs, but you have to even out the brush strokes to prevent clumping. Although this is a bad thing... it's good as well... it makes you pay attention to detail!

In conclusion I'm a very happy Camper... I mean Shopper!

Why Hello there.... Again

Sorry Blog readers for my long absence from my blog. I stopped writing first and for most because I kinda got burnt out, I was disappointed with the boring makeup collections that were appearing and the people that were disappearing from the Youtube Beauty community. I felt as though I was seeing the same type of collections everywhere and no one was coming out with anything to be exited about. So Sorry...

Oh... I also stopped so i can read this book called Blogging With Moxie so I can try and spruce up my blog. This not only lead me to Change the layout of this blog, but it also gave me an idea for another blog for your reading pleasure. It's called Budget Beauty and its about living a Fabu-less Life on a budget. It talks about Life in general, tips, tutorials, makeup, crafts, books, movies, Decor, living, food, travel....practically everything. I'm not narrowing the blog subject at all. I have lots more to talk about besides makeup, and I really would love to share how I save money... I'm quite a Savvy Girl. Believe me... My Foundation: Max Factor Pan Stic, it works perfect for me, it covers very well without getting greasy.

My Mascara: CoverGirl Lash Blash and High Impact Mascara by Clinique. Both these mascara's work wonders on my little lashes

My Blush: MAC Full Fuchsia and NXY Blush in Pinky

My Eyeshadow(s): Urban Decay Deluxe Palette - I cant put it down... Love all the colors! NYX shadows are also among my top favorites as well as MAC!

My Day Cream(s): Clean and Clear Shine Control Moisturizer -Morning Burst (oil Free)

My Beauty Product Brand(s): NYX, MAC, MUFE, Urban Decay, HIP

My Essential Beauty Product: Cotton Balls and Q-tips... I use them like crazy!

My Favorite Makeup Product(s): Cant live without my concealer palette (MAC), or my HIP cream liner in Black

My Perfume: I use allot of random perfumes... I don't have a particular one I always have to have, but I use Bath and Body Works Body spray in Cucumber Melon to freshen up. I use it like there's no tomorrow.

My Nails: Addicted to MAC nail polishes.

My Feet: Need a pedicure... I neglect my feet, although I get that I have pretty feet quite often. Their clean I guess

My Hands: Same as my feet neglected... I'm constantly doing things with my hands, crafts, makeup, cleaning, and chipped polish bothers me. I rather not even paint my nails. Sad, but I'm getting better now that Ive been purchasing lots of MAC polishes.

Three Products to bring on a deserted island: Idk... I hope that never happens. I cant live with just three products.

Woman I admire for their beauty: MonroemisfitMakeup on Youtube. I love that she isn't afraid of color or being bold. Same goes for X-Youtuber Sandra Jade. Both these girls rock. In the celebrity world I admire Angelina Jolie and Eva Mendez

Woman with the Best Sense of Style: Best by far that I have ever seen and admired completely is Amanda Berg.

My Ultimate Dream: My ultimate dream would be to be a MUA for a Major Magazine, a creative director for a Major Cosmetic Company (one that is Animal Friendly of Course) and lastly to by a MUA and create looks for Movies and Movie characters. Dream Big I know.... these are all dreams I am working to accomplish. I also really want to own a cute pastry shop.

I never thought I would ever refer to myself as a Geek until I saw these fabulous videos by MakeupGeek. She absolutely inspires me and makes me now consider myself a true makeup geek. Her video's on Youtube are some of the best makeup video's you can find because she puts so much thought and creativity into her videos. Get Organized: Pigments

EnkoreMakeup put out a great video this week about pigment organizing, and all though I love the idea, I'm not that handy with tools or constructing things. If you are handy and have space in in your makeup area, I strongly suggest you to follow Enkores advice and get crafty, your pigments will turn out looking uber organized and beautiful. Organizing 5 Gram Jars

If your not into dividing your pigments into 5 gram jars or you want something for your larger full size MAC pigment Jars, then here is another video for organizing your pigments. Yes it's by Genius Enkore once again.

Pigment Organizing

Another option I found to be quite handy is Christina Divines idea of putting pigments in a clear tackle box. She bought the boxes at wallmart for a little under $2.00 and organized them very well. To take it a step further I would buy a box for every color. In example, a box for all your Blue tones, one for Greens and so on. Then maybe you can have a box for all your most frequently used or favorite colors.
